Great news for those who want to work in the police. Punjab Police had announced to start of the application process for recruitment to 1746 vacant posts of constable from 21 February 2025. Candidates who want to participate in this recruitment can apply online by visiting the official website of Punjab Police punjabpolice.gov.in. The last date of application has been fixed as 13 March 2025.
Essential Qualification
To participate in this recruitment, the candidate must have passed the 12th class (10+2) from a recognized board. At the same time, for ex-servicemen candidates, only passing the 10th class is sufficient.
Age Limit
Apart from educational qualification, the minimum age of the candidate should be 18 years and maximum age 28 years. Candidates of reserved category will be given relaxation in age limit as per rules.
This application fee will have to be paid.
To apply for this recruitment, it will be mandatory for the candidates to deposit the fee. Forms without an application fee will not be accepted. General category candidates have to pay Rs 1150, SC/ST/BC/OBC (only from Punjab state) candidates have to pay Rs 650, and Ex-Servicemen of Punjab have to pay Rs 500 as fee. The application fee will be paid through online mode.
Selection Process
In Punjab Police Constable Recruitment, candidates will be selected through a written test, physical screening test (PST), physical parameter test (PMT), medical test, and document verification. Only those candidates who are successful in all the stages will get a place in the final merit list.
