PNB: PNB reduces ATM withdrawal limit, halves limit on several debit cards..
Punjab National Bank has reduced the daily ATM withdrawal limit for some of its debit cards. According to the bank, these new rules will come into effect from April 1, 2026. In a statement on its website, PNB said this decision was taken to enhance customer security, strengthen risk control, and promote safe digital banking.
Limit reduced from ₹100,000 to ₹50,000 on these cards
The daily ATM withdrawal limit for some debit cards has been reduced from ₹100,000 to ₹50,000.

RuPay NCMC Platinum International Debit Card
RuPay Women Power Platinum Debit Card
RuPay PNB Palash Debit Card (Recycled PVC)
RuPay Business Platinum NCMC Debit Card
MasterCard Platinum Debit Card
VISA Gold Debit Card
PNB MasterCard Platinum Rise
The limit on these cards has been reduced from ₹1.5 lakh to ₹75,000.
The bank has also reduced the limits on some premium cards. The daily ATM withdrawal limit on these cards has been reduced from ₹1,50,000 to ₹75,000.

The bank has clarified that there has been no change in the ATM withdrawal limits for debit cards other than those mentioned above.
Customers can change the limit if they wish.
PNB customers can set or reset their ATM withdrawal limit within the new limit. Internet banking, PNBOne, IVR, or WhatsApp banking are available for this purpose.
PoS and online transactions remain unaffected.
The bank has also clarified that there are no changes to the transaction limits for POS (card payments at stores), e-commerce, and contactless payments. Customers can update their ATM, POS, e-commerce, and contactless transaction limits as needed by accessing their debit card settings in Internet banking or the PNB One app.
