Targeted Beneficiaries: The scheme focuses on individuals engaged in 18 traditional occupations, including:

Basket, mat, and broom makers

Blacksmiths
Eligibility Criteria: To qualify for the benefits of PM Vishwakarma Yojana, you must belong to one of the specified occupations listed above.
Training and Stipend: Beneficiaries will receive training lasting several days, along with a stipend of Rs 500 per day during this period.
Financial Assistance:
Each beneficiary is eligible to get Rs 15,000 to purchase the toolkit required for their craft.
The scheme offers a loan facility of up to Rs 1 lakh, with an option for an additional Rs 2 lakh on repayment, all without the need for any collateral and at a low interest rate.
