Financial Assistance: This scheme provides financial assistance to 30 lakh traditional artisans including carpenters, goldsmiths, sculptors, blacksmiths, and potters.
Initial Toolkit Assistance: Beneficiaries can get an advance of ₹15,000 to purchase the toolkit required for their craft, ensuring that they have the right tools to succeed.
Loan provision: The scheme also offers loans up to ₹1 lakh without any collateral.
Training opportunities: Apart from financial assistance, the government is committed to providing training programs for artisans and craftsmen.
Easy registration process: Artisans can register for the scheme through the Common Service Center using the biometric-based PM Vishwakarma portal.
