How to register offline?

Registration under Pradhan Mantri Surya Ghar Free Electricity Scheme has also been started in Karnataka Postal Circle. Register online

If you want to apply online then you have to go to the official website https://pmsuryaghar.gov.in. Here is step-by-step information on how you can register online.

First of all, go to the official website https://pmsuryaghar.gov.in and select Apply for Rooftop Solar.

Now select your state and the name of the electricity distribution company. Then enter your electricity consumer number, mobile number, and email.

Log in on the new page by entering the consumer number and mobile.

When the form opens, apply for rooftop solar panels as per the guidelines given in it.

After completing this process, you will get feasibility approval, after which you will be able to install the plant from any vendor registered with your DISCOM.

How much subsidy will be given?

To apply under this scheme, you must have electricity bills for the last six months. The central government announced in the budget that under the new solar rooftop scheme, consumers can be given a subsidy of Rs 30,000 per kilowatt for connections up to three kilowatts and Rs 18,000 per kilowatt for connections above 3 kilowatts.
