PM Rojgar Yojana: Prime Minister Narendra Modi announced the launch of the Pradhan Mantri Vikasit Bharat Rojgar Yojana worth Rs 1 lakh crore on Independence Day. Under this, 3.5 crore youth will get employment and self-employment opportunities. The scheme will come into effect from today.

PM Rojgar Yojana: On the occasion of Independence Day, Prime Minister Narendra Modi made a historic announcement for the youth of the country from the Red Fort. He launched the Pradhan Mantri Vikasit Bharat Rojgar Yojana, under which a special fund of Rs 1 lakh crore will be created.

The Prime Minister said that through this scheme, 3.5 crore youth across the country will get employment opportunities. This initiative will focus on promoting employment generation, skill development, and entrepreneurship. The government aims to provide not only jobs but also self-employment opportunities to the youth through this scheme.

Prime Minister Modi said that this step will prove to be important in making India a developed nation and will give the youth an opportunity to play a leading role in the creation of 'Atmanirbhar Bharat'. This scheme will be implemented across the country from today.

Incentive of Rs 15,000 on first job

Under the Pradhan Mantri Vikasit Bharat Rojgar Yojana, the government has made a provision to give special incentives to the youth on getting their first job in the private sector. According to the scheme, boys and girls who get employment for the first time in any company or institution will be given a lump sum amount of Rs 15,000 by the government. The objective of this initiative is to encourage the youth towards formal employment and provide assistance in their initial financial needs.
