Today, the 16th employment fair was organized in 47 cities of the country. During this, Prime Minister Narendra Modi handed over appointment letters to 51 thousand youth. PM Modi participated virtually in the employment fair. PM distributed joining instructions to the newly appointed youth in various government departments and organizations through video conferencing. Prime Minister Modi is also addressing the appointed people virtually. In this regard, PM Modi has also posted a post from his handle on social media platform X.
The post reads, "The employment fair reflects our government's commitment to empower the youth power and make them a catalyst in the creation of a developed India."
Recruitment is being done in the ministries of the central government
The employment fair is a step towards fulfilling the Prime Minister's commitment to give top priority to employment generation. The job fair will play an important role in empowering the youth and providing meaningful opportunities for their participation in nation building. More than 10 lakh recruitment letters have been issued so far through job fairs across the country. The 16th job fair was organized at 47 places across the country. These recruitments are taking place in various ministries and departments of the central government.
New central employees will join
The new employees selected from across the country will join other departments and ministries including the Ministry of Railways, Ministry of Home Affairs, Department of Posts, Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Department of Financial Services, Ministry of Labor and Employment. Earlier, Prime Minister Narendra Modi returned to New Delhi on Thursday morning after completing his five-nation visit from July 2 to 9. The diplomatic visit included Ghana, Trinidad and Tobago, Argentina, Brazil and Namibia, and during this he also attended the 17th BRICS summit held in Rio de Janeiro under the presidency of Brazil.
