According to the affidavit filed by PM Modi, his movable assets have increased by 52 percent between 2014 and 2019.
Most of PM Modi's movable assets are in the form of fixed deposits of Rs 1.27 crore in the State Bank of India. PM Modi also gave information about how much income tax he pays every year. According to the affidavit, his main source of income is his government salary and interest on his savings. According to the affidavit of 2024, PM Modi has paid income tax of Rs 3 lakh 33 thousand 179 in the financial year 2023-24.
5 years earnings
PM Modi also talked about his earnings for the last 5 years in the affidavit. His income in 2018-19 was Rs 11 lakh 14 thousand 230. In 2019-20 it increased to Rs 17 lakh 20 thousand 760. PM's income in 2020-21 was Rs 17 lakh 07 thousand 930. Whereas in 2021-22, his income was Rs 15 lakh 41 thousand 870. In 2022-23, the Prime Minister earned an income of Rs 23 lakh 56 thousand 80.
How much cash?
PM Narendra Modi has informed in the affidavit that till March 31, 2019, he had Rs 38,750 in cash. Rs 4,143 are deposited in PM Modi's bank account. Whereas according to the affidavit filed in 2014, PM Modi had Rs 32 thousand 700 in cash, bank balance of Rs 26.05 lakh, and a fixed deposit of Rs 32.48 lakh. Till March 31, 2024, PM Modi had Rs 52 thousand 920 in cash. Out of this, he withdrew Rs 28 thousand from his election account on 13 May.
PM does not have a house or car
According to the affidavit, PM Modi neither has any house nor any car. He has 4 gold rings, which are worth Rs 2 lakh 67 thousand. Their total weight is 45 grams.
Apart from all this, the PM has also given information about his studies. PM completed 10th class in the year 1967. He has studied from the Gujarat Board. He has studied BA from Delhi University. Completed graduation in the year 1978. After that, he studied MA in the year 1983. He has done his Masters from Gujarat University.
