These include two major projects: the Pradhan Mantri Dhan Dhanya Krishi Yojana and the Pulse Self-Reliance Mission.

These schemes will focus on increasing agricultural productivity, encouraging crop diversification, adopting sustainable farming methods, and improving storage and irrigation facilities. How to Benefit from the PM Dhan Dhanya Krishi Yojana

The PM Dhan Dhanya Krishi Yojana, being launched today, is considered a major step for farmers. ₹24,000 crore will be spent on this scheme to make farming more productive and sustainable. Its aim is to increase agricultural output, motivate farmers to adopt new crops, and improve storage facilities at the village level.

Under the scheme, irrigation systems will be strengthened in 100 districts to reduce water shortages for farmers. Additionally, loans will be made readily available to them so they can adopt modern farming techniques and increase their income.

Pulses Self-Reliance Mission Also Launched

Prime Minister Modi will also launch the Pulses Self-Reliance Mission today, costing ₹11,440 crore. The mission aims to make the country completely self-sufficient in pulse production. The focus will be on increasing pulse production, expanding cultivation area, and strengthening the value chain from procurement to processing.

The government wants farmers to earn more profits from pulse cultivation and reduce the country's dependence on imports. This mission will provide farmers with new technology, improved seeds, and training support to increase both production and quality.

In addition to these schemes, PM Modi will inaugurate projects related to agriculture, dairy, fisheries, and food processing worth more than ₹5,450 crore. The foundation stone for new projects worth ₹815 crore will also be laid. These projects will provide new income opportunities for farmers. The agriculture sector will benefit from both technology and markets, further strengthening the rural economy.
