PM Kisan Yojana: These farmers can still get the stuck 17th installment, know here
While various states run several schemes, the central government also runs several beneficial and welfare schemes. One such scheme for farmers is the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi. Under this scheme, eligible farmers get three installments of ₹ 2,000 every four months. On June 18, 2024, Prime Minister Narendra Modi transferred the 17th installment to the bank accounts of eligible farmers. However, some farmers have still not received their installments. Reasons for delay in the 17th installment:
- If your land verification is incomplete, you may not get the installment.
- Farmers who have not completed their e-KYC may be excluded from the benefits.
- Errors in the bank account number or the bank account not being linked to the Aadhaar card can also cause delays.
Can the pending installment still be received?
The 17th installment benefited 9.26 crore eligible farmers, on which the government spent Rs 20,000 crore. If you are eligible but have not received the installment, you can clear the problems causing the delay. By completing these steps, the state government can clear your name and send it to the central government, after which you can get the pending installment.
- E-KYC: If your installment is pending due to e-KYC, complete it through the official PM-Kisan portal (pmkisan.gov.in) or visit a nearby CSC center.
- Land Verification: If this is the reason for your delay, complete this process at your nearest agriculture office.
- Correct Bank Details: Update your bank account details and visit your bank branch to ensure that your Aadhaar card is linked to your bank account.
