The scheme is managed by the Ministry of Agriculture under the Central Government; the Ministry prepares the farmers' data and makes all the necessary arrangements for the transfer of installments. Currently, Shivraj Singh Chouhan serves as India's Minister of Agriculture. He frequently visits various states to interact with farmers and participates in numerous agricultural programs.
Through these programs, he provides information about schemes related to farmers and often mentions the PM Kisan Yojana. However, there has been no official statement from him regarding the 23rd installment so far, nor has the Ministry of Agriculture announced when the funds for the 23rd installment will be released.
Nevertheless, since the inception of the PM Kisan Yojana, the period for releasing the first installment of the financial year has consistently been June-July. Typically, the first installment of the financial year is released in February or March, while the second installment of the calendar year is released in June or July. Occasionally, there have been slight delays, pushing the date to the first or second week of August; however, the prevailing trend is for the release to occur in June or July. Last year (2025), the 20th installment was released on August 2nd. Before that, in 2024, the 17th installment was released on June 18th.
Given these past dates, it is likely that the 23rd installment of the PM Kisan Yojana could be released after June 18th. In other words, the farmers' wait might end after June 18th. However, farmers should wait for an official announcement.

Step 2: Click on the "Know Your Status" option on the homepage.
Step 3: Enter your registration number in the provided field.
If you do not remember your registration number:
Click on "Know Your Registration Number."
Search using your mobile number or Aadhaar card.
Verify using the OTP, and you will be able to view your registration number.
Step 4: Complete the verification process using the OTP sent to your registered mobile number.
