PM-Kisan Yojana 21st Installment: The Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana (PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Scheme) is an important government scheme for millions of farmers across the country. Under this scheme, a total of ₹6,000 is deposited into farmers' accounts every year in three installments of ₹2,000 each. On November 19th, Prime Minister Narendra Modi released the 21st installment during a program held in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu.

PM Modi transferred approximately ₹18,000 crore directly to the bank accounts of approximately 90 million farmers across the country through DBT. However, many farmers say that the 21st installment has not been credited to their accounts. This includes farmers who have been declared ineligible. Indeed, funds under the PM-Kisan Yojana can be stuck for a variety of reasons.

Which farmers were declared ineligible?
The Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM-KISAN) scheme is a central scheme launched by the Government of India to provide financial assistance to farmers. There are certain eligibility criteria for this scheme; failure to meet these criteria results in farmers being declared ineligible. There are several reasons for this.

Farmers who provided incorrect age information have been excluded from the beneficiary list. Farmers who provided incorrect information in their Khasra/Khatauni have also been excluded from the scheme. Farmers who entered incorrect bank account numbers and IFSC codes may have their 21st installment funds blocked. Some farmers may have made any errors/mistakes while filling out the application form, and they too will not receive the benefit. Farmers who have not yet completed e-KYC have also been excluded from the list.
