PM Kisan Yojana 21st installment: Prime Minister Narendra Modi released the 21st installment of the PM Kisan Yojana on Wednesday at an event in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu. This installment transferred approximately ₹18,000 crore directly to the bank accounts of nine crore farmers. This payment comes nearly four months after the 20th installment, released on August 2nd. The 20th installment credited ₹20,500 crore to the accounts of 97 million beneficiaries. With this round, the central government has transferred over ₹3.7 lakh crore to over 11 crore farmer families since the scheme's launch.

Still, some farmers may not see the funds in their bank accounts. Here's why this happens and how you can check your records.

Reasons why some farmers' 21st installments are withheld

The government has identified certain suspicious cases that may be excluded from the PM Kisan scheme beneficiary list:

Farmers who acquired land after February 1, 2019.

Cases where more than one family member is receiving benefits (e.g., both husband and wife, an adult member and a minor, etc.).

In such cases, benefits have been temporarily suspended until physical verification is complete.

Farmers who have not completed their eKYC may not receive the 21st PM Kisan installment if there are discrepancies in their details.

How to check PM Kisan beneficiary status?
Farmers can visit the dedicated portal pmkisan.gov.in to learn more about the scheme. In the "Farmers Corner" section, those receiving benefits from the PM Kisan Scheme can easily check their status using the "Know Your Status" feature.

What has the government said about those who haven't received their installments?
The government has issued a notification regarding farmers who have not yet received their 21st installment of the PM Kisan Yojana. According to the official website of the PM Kisan Yojana, farmers whose names are on the list but have not received their installments due to a technical glitch will receive their installments. They will undergo physical verification once everything is in order, and, if everything is in order, the installment amount will be credited to their accounts.
