PM Kisan Yojana: If the money of the 17th installment has not yet come into the account, then do this work quickly
India is an agricultural country, with more than half of its population dependent on agriculture for their livelihood. Farmers are an important part of the country's economy. Understanding their importance, the Government of India has implemented several schemes to assist farmers, including loans and crop insurance. An important initiative is the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM-Kisan) scheme, which was launched in 2019 to provide financial assistance to farmers.
Overview of PM-Kisan Yojana
Under the PM-Kisan scheme, farmers get an annual grant of Rs 6,000. This amount is distributed in three installments of Rs 2,000 every four months directly to the bank accounts of farmers through Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT). So far 17 installments have been released, of which the 17th installment was distributed on June 18. However, some beneficiaries did not receive their installment due to several reasons.
Necessary Requirements to Receive Installments
E-KYC is a Must
- One of the mandatory requirements to receive PM-Kisan benefits is to complete the e-KYC (Know Your Customer) process. Farmers who have not completed e-KYC will not receive the benefits. If your 17th installment is pending, it is necessary to complete the e-KYC process.
Land Verification
- Apart from e-KYC, land verification is also mandatory. The government has stipulated that farmers must get their land verified to continue receiving installments. Failure to complete land verification will suspend future installments.
Other Possible Issues
- Apart from e-KYC and land verification, other issues can also prevent farmers from receiving their installments:
- Aadhaar Linkage: If your Aadhaar card is not linked to your bank account, the installment will not be processed.
- Wrong details: Providing wrong information such as bank account number, Aadhaar number, gender, or name during the application process may also result in non-receipt of installments.

Complete e-KYC:
- Complete the land verification process.
- Make sure your Aadhaar is linked to your bank account.
- Double-check that all your application details are correct.
