Three installments of this scheme are issued annually, each installment containing ₹2,000. If you haven't received a single installment yet, it's important to understand that the scheme has been in operation since 2019, and a total of 20 installments have been issued. PM Kisan Yojana: Will you receive 21 installments?
If you're a new farmer or haven't applied for the scheme yet and are applying now, will you receive all 21 installments at once? The answer is no. You won't receive all 21 installments at once. According to the scheme's rules, installments are released periodically, and pending installments aren't paid in one lump sum.

However, there are some relief options. For example, if your previous 1-2 installments (such as the 20th) are pending due to technical reasons (e.g., incomplete e-KYC, incorrect bank details), they can be combined with the next installment and transferred together for ₹4,000. This applies only to the latest outstanding amount. However, if you haven't received any installments for the entire scheme (from 2019 to the present), a lump sum payment of all 21 installments (approximately ₹42,000) is not possible. The main reason for this is that the scheme has a time limit. Old installments (such as those from 1-2 years ago) are not recovered if they are delayed due to verification.

If you were eligible but did not register or update your e-KYC, you will only receive future installments (such as those from the 21st year onwards). Old installments may lapse. If you registered recently (in 2025), you will only receive the current and future installments, not the previous ones.

When will the PM Kisan Yojana 21st Installment be released?
According to reports, the next installment (the 21st installment) of the PM Kisan Yojana is expected to be released in the first half of November. However, the official date has not yet been announced. The government has already released the 21st installment of the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM Kisan) scheme for farmers affected by floods and landslides in Punjab, Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, and Jammu and Kashmir.
