PM Kisan Yojana: Big update regarding 17th installment of farmers..
PM Kisan Yojana, which is also known as Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana. This is a central government scheme whose objective is to provide financial strength to the farmers. This scheme was launched on December 1, 2018. It is completely funded by the Government of India. Under this scheme, financial assistance of Rs 6,000 is provided annually to all eligible landholding farmer families. For which Rs 2,000 is directly transferred to the bank accounts of farmers every third month. In this way, each beneficiary gets financial assistance of Rs 6,000 in a year.
The Central Government has so far released 16 installments of PM Kisan Yojana. The last installment of Rs 2,000 was transferred directly into the bank accounts of the beneficiaries on February 28 and now farmers are eagerly waiting for the 17th installment.
PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana 2024: 17th Installment:
It is expected that the government will soon announce the date of the 17th installment of PM Kisan Yojana, as the 16th installment was released in February.
Let us tell you, that the government has made eKYC mandatory for all the beneficiaries of PM Kisan Yojana. The official website states, “eKYC is mandatory for PMKISAN registered farmers. OTP-based eKYC is available on the PMKISAN portal or the nearest CSC centers can be contacted for biometric-based eKYC (sic).”
PM Kisan 17th Installment: How to check the name in the beneficiary list?
To check the name in the list, beneficiaries need to follow the steps given below:
Go to the official website of PM Kisan Yojana – https://pmkisan.gov.in.
Find the option of ‘Farmers Corner’ available on the homepage.
Within the Farmers Corner section, click on the List of Beneficiaries option.
Select State, District, Sub District, Block, and Village from the drop-down list.
Click on ‘Get Report’.
The complete list of beneficiaries will appear, in which you can check your name.
PM Kisan 17th Installment: eKYC step-by-step process
Here is the step-by-step process to complete the PM Kisan eKYC process:
Visit the official website – Pakistan.nic.in
Click on ‘eKYC’ under ‘Farmers Corner’ section
Under the ‘OTP based eKYC’ section, enter your Aadhaar number
Click on ‘Search’
Now enter your Aadhaar-linked mobile number and click on ‘Get OTP’.
Enter OTP
eKYC will be completed upon successful verification of the details entered
