Millions of farmers across the country are awaiting the 21st installment of the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi. Meanwhile, significant news has emerged. The central government has compiled a list of suspected beneficiaries who are receiving benefits inappropriately. According to reports, more than 3.1 million farmers are on the suspect list.

According to the central government, approximately 3.101 million beneficiaries have been identified in states and union territories where both husband and wife are enrolling in the scheme. However, according to the rules, only one spouse in a family can receive the ₹6,000 benefit under the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana. According to media reports, the Union Agriculture Ministry conducted a large-scale campaign, which revealed these numbers.

Do this before October 15th
According to reports, verification of 19.02 million beneficiaries has been completed out of 3.101 million cases. Of these, 17.87 million, or 93.98 percent, are cases where both husband and wife are enrolling in the scheme. The Agriculture Ministry has sent a letter to states, urging them to complete the verification drive by October 15th. According to the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana guidelines, if a family consists of a husband, wife, and minor children, only one of them will receive the ₹6,000 benefit.

₹6,000 is also being credited to the accounts of minors.
The central government's investigation has also revealed that approximately 1.76 lakh minors are benefiting from the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi. Furthermore, 33.34 lakh suspicious cases have been found where the previous owner's information is incorrect or nonexistent. According to the rules, it is mandatory to provide information about the previous owner of land transferred to farmers after February 1, 2019. It should not be the case that the previous owner is also receiving ₹6,000 on the same land. However, 8.11 lakh such suspicious cases have been reported.

When will the 21st installment of the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi arrive?
The 21st installment of the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi has been released to farmers in flood-affected states. Farmers in Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir, Punjab, and Uttarakhand have received ₹2,000. Farmers in other states may have to wait until verification is complete. It is believed that the money may arrive in farmers' accounts before Diwali. However, given the current circumstances, farmers may have to wait until November. No update has been received from Agriculture Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan or Prime Minister Narendra Modi at the time of the launch of the Pradhan Mantri Dhan Dhanya Krishi Yojana.
