The government is running many schemes for the development of every section. The government has also started many schemes for farmers. One of these schemes is PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana.
In this scheme, the government gives an amount of Rs 6,000 annually to provide financial assistance to the farmers. This amount comes to the farmers' accounts in installments.
The government deposits an installment i.e. Rs 2,000 in the farmer's account every 4 months. Farmers do not have to rush to get the benefits of this scheme. Crores of farmers in the country are getting the benefit of this scheme but still, many farmers are deprived of this scheme. The government has tightened the rules of the scheme.
The benefit of PM Kisan Yojana is available only to those farmers who have done e-KYC. If the e-KYC process of PM Kisan is not completed or the land is not verified then the farmers do not get the installment amount.
The 16th installment of PM Kisan was released on 28 February 2024. Now crores of farmers are waiting for the 17th installment of PM Kisan Yojana. Till now the government has not announced the date of release of the 17th installment.
How to do e-KYC (PM Kisan E-KYC Process)
Go to the official website of PM Kisan Yojana (pmkisan.gov.in).
After this click on the option of e-KYC.
Now fill in the registered mobile number and click on Get OTP.
After this enter the OTP received on your mobile number.
After entering the OTP, submit it and the e-KYC process will be completed.
KYC will be done in this way also
The applicant can also do e-KYC through Face Authentication by logging into the PM Kisan App of PM Kisan Yojana.
Whereas, for offline e-KYC, the applicant will have to go to CSC (Common Service Centre). Here e-KYC will be done through biometric authentication.
