The central government runs several schemes for farmers, providing direct financial assistance to poor and needy farmers. One of these schemes is the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana, under which farmers receive three installments annually.

Under the PM Kisan Yojana, the government provides farmers with a financial assistance of ₹6,000 annually. This amount is distributed in three installments, meaning ₹2,000 is transferred to their accounts every four months. So far, 20 installments have reached farmers, benefiting millions.

But not every farmer will receive the 21st installment. This time, the government has implemented new rules. Farmers who fail to comply will not receive the installment benefits. The government says that many farmers, despite taking advantage of the scheme, are not fulfilling the necessary conditions.

These individuals have been removed from the list, and their next installment may be withheld. The most important condition is that the farmer's bank account must be linked to their Aadhaar card. If Aadhaar seeding is not done, the money will not be credited to the account.

The government has made this mandatory. Therefore, farmers who have not yet done this must immediately visit their bank branch and get their Aadhaar linked. Furthermore, it is essential to update their land documents.

Farmers who have not uploaded their land records, such as Khasra or Khatauni, to the portal may also be excluded. The government has clarified that only farmers with genuine and registered land will be eligible to benefit from the scheme to prevent fraud.

Instalments are sometimes withheld due to incorrect bank details or IFSC codes. If you also have Aadhaar linking, updated land records, and correct bank details, then only you can guarantee that the 21st installment will reach your account on time.
