PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana: Despite the release of the 21st instalment of the PM Kisan scheme, many farmers have not received ₹2,000 in their accounts. Errors in e-KYC, Aadhaar-bank linking, and bank details are the main reasons for this. Learn how to avoid problems and receive payments.

PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will release the 21st installment of the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM-KISAN) scheme from Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, on November 19, 2025. Under this installment, approximately ₹18,000 crore will be transferred to the accounts of approximately 9 crore farmers across the country through Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT), ensuring complete transparency and eliminating the involvement of any middlemen. However, as with every installment, this time too, the ₹2,000 amount has not been credited to the accounts of some farmers. There could be some common and technical reasons for this; let's explore them in detail.

Main reasons for not receiving the 21st installment of PM Kisan

Incomplete e-KYC: e-KYC is mandatory to avail the benefits of the PM Kisan scheme. Farmers who have not yet updated their e-KYC are denied installments.
Aadhaar and bank account not linked: If your Aadhaar card is not linked to your bank account, or there is an error in the NPCI mapping, money transfer via DBT will not be possible.
Error in bank details: Incorrect account number, IFSC, or MICR code may cause payment failure.
Land record or eligibility issues: If land documents are not updated or there is an error in the eligibility criteria, the installment may also be delayed.

What to do if the installment is not received?

First, check your e-KYC, Aadhaar-bank linking, and bank details.
If problems persist, call the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana helpline number 1800-180-1551.
