PM Kisan Samman Nidhi 20th Installment Coming Soon: Here's What to Do if Your Name Is Missing from the Beneficiary List

The central government, led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, is set to complete 11 years in office. During this period, several welfare schemes have been launched, one of the most impactful being the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana. Under this scheme, eligible farmers receive ₹6,000 annually in three installments of ₹2,000 each.

20th Installment Coming in June

The 20th installment of PM Kisan Samman Nidhi is expected to be disbursed in June 2025. However, many farmers are worried because their names are missing from the beneficiary list.

Don’t panic—if you meet the eligibility criteria, you can still get your name added and receive the pending installments, possibly even ₹4,000 at once (including the previous unpaid one).

What to Do If Your Name Is Not in the Beneficiary List

If you’re eligible but not listed as a beneficiary, take these steps:

1. Contact the District-Level Grievance Redressal Committee

  • Visit your district’s Grievance Monitoring Committee.

  • Carry all necessary documents such as Aadhaar, land records, and bank details.

  • Submit a request to include your name in the beneficiary list.

Complete These Online Steps Too

Visit the official PM Kisan portal: https://pmkisan.gov.in and use the "Farmers’ Corner" section to complete these important tasks:

1. New Farmer Registration

  • If you're not registered yet, click on “New Farmer Registration.”

  • Fill in your details carefully and submit the form.

  • The data is then forwarded to the State Nodal Officer for verification.

2. Check and Correct Aadhaar Details

  • Mismatched Aadhaar data is a common reason for payment failures.

  • Visit the portal and ensure your name, gender, and date of birth match exactly with your Aadhaar card.

3. Check Beneficiary Status

  • Use your Aadhaar number, mobile number, or bank account number to check your application and payment status.

  • You can also update details if needed to ensure smooth transfer of funds.

Who Is Eligible for PM Kisan Benefits?

To be eligible, the farmer must:

  • Own cultivable land in their name.

  • Not be an income tax payer or government employee.

  • Have a valid Farmer ID (now mandatory).

  • Ensure all records, including bank and Aadhaar details, are accurate and linked.

When Will the 20th Installment Be Credited?

As per PM Kisan guidelines, installments are released every four months: April–July, August–November, and December–March.

  • The 19th installment was released on 24 February 2025.

  • So the 20th installment is likely to hit bank accounts by mid-June 2025.

Final Tip

Don’t wait till the last moment. If your name is not on the list, take action now to ensure you don’t miss out on your rightful ₹2,000 (or ₹4,000 if last installment was missed too). Visit your local agriculture office or use the PM Kisan portal to verify your status.
