PM Kisan 21st Installment: The government has given strict instructions to the banks to ensure that the money of the PM-Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana reaches the farmers on time. Transactions were failing many times under the scheme, due to which farmers were facing problems in getting the installment. The reasons include problems like the Aadhaar number not being linked to the bank account, the account being closed, and incomplete KYC.

The government, paying attention to these problems, has now started taking corrective steps at the state level. A budget of Rs 63,500 crore has been fixed for this scheme in the financial year 2025-26.

Officials say that the biggest problem is not linking the Aadhaar number to the account properly. Many times, farmers also give details like a loan account or a fixed deposit account by mistake, due to which the money is not transferred.

Banks will contact farmers directly.
Banks have now been given the responsibility to contact the farmers directly and give them the correct information. Farmers should be helped so that they can complete their KYC and fix frozen or closed accounts. Bank officials have said that this entire process is being reviewed regularly and corrective steps are being taken from time to time.

Money is given in installments every year.

It is worth noting that under the PM-Kisan scheme started in 2019, farmers are given Rs 6,000 every year in three installments. This amount goes directly to Aadhaar-linked bank accounts. So far, the government has deposited about Rs 3.90 lakh crore in the accounts of farmers in 20 installments.

To get the benefit of the scheme, farmers must link their land records, Aadhaar, and bank account. Apart from this, it is also mandatory to complete e-KYC.

More than 1 lakh camps have been set up in gram panchayats.

Meanwhile, a three-month Financial Inclusion campaign started from July 1 is also going on. In the very first month, more than 1 lakh camps were organized in gram panchayats across the country. Under this, lakhs of new Jan Dhan accounts were opened, and a large number of people also joined the insurance schemes.

The government hopes that with these steps, there will be no problem in getting the installment to the farmers, and the benefits of the scheme will reach the right beneficiaries easily.

21st installment can be released in November-December
The 20th installment of Kisan Samman Yojana has reached the farmers' account on 2 August 2025. Now the 21st installment is awaited. It is claimed that the 21st installment of PM Kisan can be released in November or December. Because every installment of this scheme is released every 4-4 months.
