PM Kisan installments haven't arrived for three consecutive times. How do I apply to receive the full amount?
PM Kisan Yojana: If you are a beneficiary of the PM Kisan Yojana and haven't received your last three installments, understand the next steps you need to take to ensure you receive your money again.
The government runs numerous schemes for farmers across the country, which benefit them. Even today, there are many farmers in the country who are not financially well off and don't earn much through farming.
The Government of India's Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana proves to be very helpful for marginal farmers. Under this scheme, the government provides ₹6,000 in three installments annually. A total of 21 installments have been released so far.
However, many farmers haven't received their PM Kisan Samman Nidhi installments for several months. Withholding three installments can be frustrating, and the reason is often unclear. In such a situation, it's important to first understand why installments are stuck.
The most common reason for installments to be stuck is the eKYC not being updated. If your Aadhaar isn't linked to your bank account or the PM Kisan portal, the installment isn't directly accessible to the bank. Sometimes, a misspelled initial, an incorrect date of birth, or mismatched documents also cause problems.
Therefore, ensuring your Aadhaar and bank details match is the first step. If three installments haven't arrived, it's important to check the status online. The status section on the PM Kisan portal reveals the reason for the payment being stuck.
It displays bank rejection, eKYC pending, or verification pending. Once you've identified the issue, you should immediately complete the process. This will prevent any future installments from being stuck. Furthermore, you can also receive the pending installments at once.
You can complete your eKYC online or by visiting a CSC center. Additionally, if you are unsure about any other aspects of the schemes, you can visit your nearest agriculture center or call the helpline number 155261 / 011-24300606 for more information.
