If you are taking advantage of the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana, then this news is very useful for you. The government is going to release the 20th installment of PM Kisan soon. The last i.e. 19th installment was released on 24 February 2025, when about 9.8 crore farmers were given help of Rs 22,000 crore. Now all the farmers are eyeing the 20th installment.

According to media reports, it is expected that the 20th installment of Kisan Samman Nidhi can be transferred to the farmers' account in the first or second week of June 2025. However, there is no official confirmation of this yet.

If you want the money of the 20th installment, then do this important work immediately.
If you have completed all the necessary work like getting e-KYC done and linking Aadhaar to the bank account, then there is nothing to worry about. But if you have still not completed these necessary steps, then your next installment of Rs 2,000 may be stopped. Let us know what is important to keep in mind if you want the next installment of PM Kisan Yojana and how you can check PM Kisan beneficiary status.

What is PM Kisan Yojana and who gets its benefit?

Under the PM Kisan Yojana, small and marginal farmers are given financial assistance of Rs 6,000 every year. This amount is given in three installments, under which Rs 2,000 is sent directly to your bank account every four months. The purpose of this scheme is to help farmers in farming and daily needs.

What are the necessary conditions to get the 20th installment of PM Kisan?

Before sending money to the farmers' account, the government ensures that all the necessary information is correct. First of all, you need to complete your e-KYC (PM Kisan eKYC). If you have not done this yet, then the next installment may get stuck. You can do e-KYC on the online portal or by visiting the nearest Common Service Center (CSC).

How to update e-KYC

Go to the PM Kisan portal https://pmkisan.gov.in.

There, on the homepage, you will find the option of "e-KYC", click on it.

Then enter your Aadhaar number and "Search".

After this, enter the mobile number linked to Aadhaar.

You will get an OTP, verify it by submitting it.

If the OTP is correct, your e-KYC will be completed.

Land records should also be updated.

This scheme will benefit only those farmers who have valid agricultural land. If there is any mistake in land verification or the information is not updated, then your installment may get stuck. Therefore, keep getting the land-related information verified from time to time.

Bank and Aadhaar linking is also necessary.

The installment money received under this scheme comes directly to the bank account of the farmers. Therefore, the farmer needs to provide correct information about his bank account and Aadhaar card. Your bank account should be linked to Aadhaar. Keep in mind that the spelling of the name in the bank should also match with Aadhaar, otherwise the payment may fail. Apart from this, the IFSC code, account number, and other information should also be correct.

Check the status like this.

Sometimes the money can be stopped due to some mistake, so it is important to keep checking your status from time to time. For this, you can go to the PM Kisan portal and use the "Beneficiary Status" option. Here you can know whether your name is in the beneficiary list (PM Kisan beneficiary list) or not and when the installment will come. If any information is wrong, then you can go to your block or agriculture department office and get it corrected.

The government has not yet given the official date of the 20th installment, but it is expected that the money can be transferred in the first or second week of June. In such a situation, if you want your next installment of Rs 2,000 to come to your account on time, then get all these important tasks done as soon as possible.
