According to government rules, this money is disbursed three times a year, during the periods of April-July, August-November, and December-March. Given the rising inflation and increasing costs of farming, there has been a long-standing demand to increase this amount. It is often observed that even after the installment is released, the money does not reach the accounts of many farmers. The biggest reason for this is the incomplete e-KYC process. The government has made it clear that only those farmers whose e-KYC process is complete will receive the benefit of the next installment.

If you have not yet completed this process, do so immediately through the PM Kisan portal or mobile app. You don't even need to go anywhere for this. The government has launched an OTP-based e-KYC system. If your mobile number is linked to your Aadhaar card, you can complete the verification process from the comfort of your home.

To do this, simply visit the official portal (pmkisan.gov.in), select the 'e-KYC' option, and enter your Aadhaar number and the OTP you receive.
