The 21st installment of the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana (PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana 21st Installment) has been released, but some farmers haven't received the money in their accounts. Some farmers received the money by mistake or despite not meeting the eligibility criteria. To address this issue, the government is offering an online installment refund facility. This facility allows farmers to easily return the excess funds received directly to the PM Kisan portal.

This facility is essential for farmers to reclaim fraudulently obtained funds and avoid future legal trouble.

Surrender the installment money yourself.
If a farmer is not eligible and has mistakenly received funds under the Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana, they must surrender the money themselves. There is a dedicated tab on the PM Kisan portal for this purpose, called Voluntary Surrender of PM Kisan Benefits.

Learn the easy way to surrender.
Go to the PM Kisan website and click on Refund Online.
If the payment hasn't been made previously, select "If not paid earlier, then select this option to refund the amount online now."
Enter your Aadhaar number, bank account number, and mobile number.
Enter the captcha code and click on Get Data, which will display your previous payment details.
Enter your email and contact details in the Refund Payment box.
Click Confirm.
Now, select the bank on the payment page and refund the money.

Why has the 21st installment not been credited to some farmers' accounts?
The 21st installment of the PM Kisan Nidhi Yojana (PM Kisan Nidhi Yojana 21st Installment) has been released to all eligible farmers, but many farmers have not received their ₹2,000. There could be several reasons for this:

The information you provided was incomplete.
The eKYC of your bank account is not complete.
Your name has been removed from the PM Kisan Beneficiary List.
The money has been transferred to the accounts of both husband and wife in the family.
The money is being transferred to the accounts of an adult and a minor child in the family.
You purchased land after February 1, 2019, and have not updated the old records.
So, if your money hasn't arrived, there's no need to panic. You can find out from the comfort of your home when the Kisan Nidhi money will arrive in your account and where it is currently stuck. If your money is stuck, check your status on the portal.

How to check PM Kisan status?
You can check your account information under Know Your Status on the https://pmkisan.gov.in/ portal. You can also check your village and district in the Beneficiary List to see if your name is included.

How to complain if the money hasn't arrived?

If you still haven't received ₹2,000 in your account and you meet all the eligibility criteria, you can file a complaint on the PM Kisan portal.

Go to the Helpdesk Query Form on the portal.

Log in with your registration number or mobile number.

Submit your complaint.

Also, you can seek help by calling the PM Kisan helpline number 155261.

This way, the government has ensured that farmers who mistakenly received benefits can easily return the money and that the rightful farmers receive their dues.
