PM Kisan 24th Installment: Major news has emerged for farmers awaiting the 24th installment of the PM-KISAN scheme. While the Central Government has not yet announced an official date for the installment, reports suggest it could be released between October 5 and November 5, 2026. Consequently, eligible farmers can expect the ₹2,000 amount to reach their accounts soon. However, the final date will only be confirmed following an official announcement by the Central Government.

9.44 crore farmers benefited from the 23rd installment

The 23rd installment of PM-KISAN was released on June 20, 2026. According to the Central Government, over ₹18,880 crore was transferred to the bank accounts of more than 9.44 crore farmers via Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) under this installment. This included more than 2.18 crore women farmers.

Why might the 24th installment arrive in October?

The four-month period following the release of the 23rd installment on June 20 concludes around October. For this reason, it is speculated that the 24th installment could arrive in October. However, as there have been variations in the dates of previous installments, an exact date cannot be determined solely based on a four-month interval. As of September 20, 2026, the government has not officially announced the date for the 24th installment.

Talk of funds arriving before Diwali, but confirmation pending

According to reports, there is also speculation that the government might be preparing to provide the installment benefit to farmers ahead of the festive season. In this scenario, the ₹2,000 installment could reach farmers' accounts during October. However, there is no official confirmation yet regarding the release of the installment before Diwali. Focus on KCC alongside PM-KISAN

There is also important information for farmers regarding the Kisan Credit Card (KCC). The government is already running a campaign in 'mission mode' to link PM-KISAN beneficiaries with the KCC scheme. According to a report by the Department of Financial Services, a campaign was launched in February 2020 to connect all PM-KISAN beneficiaries to the KCC facility.
