PM Kisan 21st Installment: Didn’t Receive Your ₹2,000 Payment? Here’s How to File a Complaint Immediately
The 21st installment of the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi scheme has been released, bringing relief to millions of farmers across the country. On Wednesday, 19 November, Prime Minister Narendra Modi transferred the latest installment during a programme held in Coimbatore. Under this installment, ₹2,000 has been credited directly to the bank accounts of eligible farmers. However, several beneficiaries have reported that the amount has not yet reflected in their accounts. If you are among them, here is what you need to do.
This time, the government has released ₹18,000 crore to benefit more than nine crore farmer families. Those who have not received the amount must take a few key steps to verify their eligibility and lodge a complaint if necessary.
The first step is to check your bank account to confirm whether the installment has been credited. If the amount does not appear, farmers should verify whether their names are included in the PM Kisan beneficiary list. Only farmers listed as eligible beneficiaries receive funds under the scheme.
Next, it is essential to check the status of your PM Kisan account on the official portal. One of the most common reasons for withheld payments is incomplete e-KYC. If a farmer has not completed e-KYC, the installment is automatically stopped until the verification is completed. Once e-KYC is done, pending payments are released with the next installment cycle.
In cases where a farmer’s name is included in the beneficiary list but the installment has not been credited, the issue can be resolved by contacting the PM Kisan support team. Farmers can use the following official channels to file their complaints and get assistance:
1. Email Support
Farmers can send an email detailing their problem to pmkisan-ict@gov.in or pmkisan-funds@gov.in. The mail should include their name, registered mobile number, Aadhaar number and the nature of the issue.
2. Helpline Numbers
Those who prefer speaking directly to a representative can call the official helpline numbers 011-24300606 or 155261.
3. Toll-Free Number
For toll-free assistance, farmers can dial 1800-115-526 to connect with the PM Kisan support team.
Before filing a complaint, it is advisable to check your beneficiary status online. This can be done easily through the PM Kisan website. Visit the official portal and navigate to the Beneficiary Status section. Enter your Aadhaar number or registered mobile number, then click on Get Data. The portal will then display your current status, including whether you are eligible for the installment and whether the payment has been processed.
Farmers whose payments are stopped due to missing verification or incomplete documentation can resolve the issue by updating the required details. Once corrected, the pending amount, including previous installments, is usually credited in the next cycle.
The PM Kisan Samman Nidhi scheme continues to be a major source of financial support for millions of farming households. Ensuring that your records are updated and regularly checking your status on the official website can help prevent delays. If your ₹2,000 installment is still pending, filing a complaint through the official channels will ensure timely resolution and smooth release of your benefits.
