PM Kisan 19th Installment: ₹2,000 to Be Deposited on February 24 – Check Your Name in the List

The 19th installment of the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi scheme is set to be released on Monday, February 24, 2025. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will officially transfer funds during an event in Bhagalpur, Bihar. According to Union Agriculture Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan, approximately ₹22,000 crore will be deposited directly into the bank accounts of 9.8 crore eligible farmers across the country.
Under the PM Kisan Yojana, the government provides ₹2,000 every four months, totaling ₹6,000 annually in three equal installments. This initiative aims to support farmers financially and improve their income.
Increase in Beneficiaries for the 19th Installment
The 18th installment, released on October 5, 2024, from Washim, Maharashtra, benefitted 9.6 crore farmers. Since then, the number of beneficiaries has increased. The government has already disbursed ₹3.46 lakh crore under this scheme. With the release of the 19th installment, this amount will rise to ₹3.68 lakh crore.
Overview of the PM-Kisan Scheme
Launched in February 2019 and made effective from December 1, 2018, the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana is the world’s largest Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) program. The scheme helps farmers cover agricultural expenses, including purchasing seeds and fertilizers. Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan reaffirmed the government's commitment to boosting agricultural production, reducing farming costs, increasing farmer income, and promoting natural farming practices.
How to Check Your Name in the Beneficiary List
Farmers can verify if they are eligible for the 19th installment by following these steps:
- Visit the official PM-Kisan website: pmkisan.gov.in
- Scroll down and click on the ‘Farmers Corner’ section.
- Select ‘Beneficiary List’ from the options.
- Enter details such as State, District, Sub-district, Block, and Village.
- Click on ‘Get Report’ to view the list of beneficiaries.

Mandatory e-KYC for Scheme Benefits
To ensure that only genuine farmers receive financial assistance, the government has made e-KYC (electronic Know Your Customer) verification mandatory.
- If your Aadhaar card is linked to your mobile number, you can complete e-KYC online using OTP verification via the PM Kisan portal.
- If your mobile number is not linked, you can visit the nearest Common Service Centre (CSC) to complete e-KYC using fingerprint verification.
Farmers are encouraged to complete this process to avoid any disruptions in receiving their benefits.
