26 thousand crore rupees released
Today, on 23 July, the budget was presented by the Finance Minister of India, Nirmala Sitharaman. In which the budget has been allocated for the fourth phase of the Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana. In which 25 thousand kilometers of roads will be built. In today's budget session, Rs 26 thousand crore has been released for various road projects of the Road Transport Ministry.

Under the Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana, a total of 6,80,040 km long roads have been constructed from the year 2000 till the year 2021. In the budget of the year 2024, it has also been announced to build 25 thousand kilometers of road.
