Train Cancelled List: If you plan to catch a train in the next few days, it's crucial to stop for a moment and check this update before heading straight to the station. The North Western Railway has imposed a block on the Madar-Palanpur section on December 11th and 12th. Major technical work is underway on Bridge Number 632 between Jawali and Rani stations. This single project has disrupted the schedules of many trains.

Some trains have been completely cancelled, while others will be diverted, and some will run considerably later than their scheduled time. Therefore, before starting your journey, be sure to check the updated list for your route. This will save you from last-minute trouble and unnecessary hassle.

Reason for the decision

The railways didn't make this decision simply because of minor track work. The issue involves major structural work, such as installing an RCC box on Bridge Number 632. This work would not be possible without a block. Therefore, the timing and movement of the entire route had to be reset. According to Jodhpur DRM Anurag Tripathi, this is why the 14821 Jodhpur-Sabarmati Express and 14822 Sabarmati-Jodhpur Express will remain canceled on the specified dates.

Trains 19735 and 19736 between Jaipur and Marwar Junction will also not run on December 12th. Some trains will be diverted to other routes, such as Bandra Terminus-Bhagat Ki Kothi and Hadapsar-Jodhpur, which will run via Mehsana and Bhildi and stop at several stations along the way. Clearly, the block is significant, and its impact is equally evident. These trains have been cancelled:

Train number 14821 Jodhpur-Sabarmati Express will be cancelled on December 11 and 12.
Train number 14822 Sabarmati-Jodhpur Express will be cancelled on December 12 and 12.

These trains have had their routes changed:

Train number 20943 Bandra Terminus-Bhagat Ki Kothi train will run via Mahesana-Bhil Diluni on December 11. This train will stop at Patan, Bhildi, Dhanera, Raniwara, Marwar Bhinmal, Jalore, Mokalsar and Samdari stations.
Train number 20496 Hadapsar-Jodhpur train will run on the same changed route on December 11 and will stop at all the above stations.

These trains will run late:

Train number 14707 Hanumangarh-Dadar Ranakpur Express will run one hour late from its scheduled time of 5:25 AM on December 12.
Train number 19223 Sabarmati-Jammu Tawi Express will run 1 hour and 45 minutes late from its scheduled time of 10:25 AM on December 12.
Train number 09084 Bhagat Ki Kothi-Mumbai Central Express will depart from Bhagat Ki Kothi 3 hours late from its scheduled time of 11:30 AM on December 12.
