Amidst stable petrol and diesel prices, there is good news: crude oil exports from Gulf nations to India have returned to pre-war levels.

Petrol and diesel prices across the country remain unchanged today. Global crude oil prices had previously surged after US President Donald Trump rejected a seven-day peace proposal from Iran. That proposal aimed to de-escalate tensions and reopen the Strait of Hormuz.

In Delhi, the price of petrol today is ₹102.12 per liter. The price is ₹113.51 in Kolkata and ₹111.21 in Mumbai, while in Chennai, it has risen by 1 paisa to ₹107.77 per liter. Prices remain stable at ₹111.68 in Bengaluru as well.

In other major cities, the price of petrol in Gurgaon remains ₹102.97 per liter. Petrol is selling at ₹101.96 per liter in Noida, while the price in Chandigarh is ₹101.54. Although petrol and diesel prices in the country have not changed, oil supplies from the Middle East are nearing pre-war levels.

According to reports by the Wall Street Journal and Kpler, crude oil exports from major Gulf producers rose to between 13 and 17.5 million barrels per day in September—figures that, according to JPMorgan research, represent approximately 98% of pre-war levels.
