PF Tips: If you need PF information, no worries, just one missed call and you will get the details...

If you are a member of the Employees' Provident Fund Organization (EPFO) and want to check your PF balance or last deposit information, it's now much easier. The EPFO has launched a missed call service, allowing you to receive all this information on your mobile phone with just a missed call. This service is not only free but also doesn't require internet or a smartphone.
What information will you receive through a missed call?
When you make a missed call from your registered mobile number to the EPFO-issued number 9966044425, you receive important information via SMS, such as the last deposit made in your PF account, your total PF balance, and important UAN information. This service is completely free and available to all EPFO members, provided they meet certain criteria.
Important things to know about using the missed call service
There are some essential requirements that must be met before you can avail this service. For example, the mobile number must be linked to your UAN, meaning the number you're using must already be registered and active with your UAN (Universal Account Number) on the EPFO portal. KYC documents must also be verified. At least one of the following documents—a bank account number, Aadhaar card (UID), and PAN card—must be linked to your UAN. If any of these three documents is not linked, the missed call service will not provide information.
How to Give a Missed Call? Step-by-Step Method
Give a missed call to 9966044425 from your registered mobile number.
The call will automatically disconnect within two rings.
Shortly, an SMS will arrive from the EPFO providing your PF details.
There's no charge for this service.
Active UAN is mandatory.
Keep in mind that if your UAN is not active, this service will not work. Therefore, first ensure that your UAN is activated. If you haven't already, you can do so through the EPFO website or the UMANG app.
