PF Claim: Changing the job and want to withdraw the entire PF amount? So know what to do in such a situation

Almost all employees in India have a provident fund (PF) account, where a portion of their monthly salary is deposited. The company also contributes to this PF account. This account works as a great savings plan for the future, in which money is deposited and good interest is earned.

One advantage of a PF account is the ability to withdraw money when needed. If you are changing jobs then you can withdraw the entire amount from your PF account. Here's how you can withdraw the full amount from your PF account:

Steps to withdraw the full PF amount:

Visit the official website of the Employees Provident Fund Organization (EPFO) https://unifiedportal-mem.epfindia.gov.in/memberinterface/.

Log in using your Universal Account Number (UAN), password, and captcha.

After logging in, click on 'Manage' and check your KYC details.

Click on 'Online Services' and select 'FORM-31, 19&10C'.

You will see three options:

Select 'Full EPF Settlement' to withdraw the full amount.

Click on 'EPF Part Withdrawal' for Loan and Advance.

Pension withdrawal options.

If you want to withdraw the entire amount then select 'Full EPF Settlement'.

Your PF amount will be credited to your registered bank account within a few days, and you will receive the details on your registered phone number.

Can merge PF account

If your UAN is linked to your current PF account, you cannot withdraw money from your previous company's PF account. In this situation, you have to merge your old PF account with your new account.

Visit the official website of EPFO.

Click on 'Services' and then select 'For Employees'.

Select 'One Employee - One EPF Account' on the new page.

Log in using your UAN, password, and captcha.

You will see the details of your old PF account. Enter your old account details and submit.

An approval request will be sent to your current temperature. After it is approved, your old account will be merged into the named account by EPFO.
