Checking PF Balance using the Umang App

The Umang app is a convenient tool to check your PF balance. If you have an Android phone, you can easily download this app from the Play Store.

Download Umang App

Go to the Play Store and download the Umang app.

Language selection

After downloading, open the app and select your preferred language.

Setup Process

Click on the Continue button to proceed with the setup process.

Mobile Number Verification

Enter your mobile number and verify it with the OTP sent to your phone.

Register and Use the App

Once your phone number is registered, you can start using the app.

Search EPFO

In the app, click on the search bar and type “EPFO”.

Choose the “View Passbook” option.

Provide UAN Details

Enter your Universal Account Number (UAN).

OTP Verification

Click on “Receive OTP” and enter the OTP received on your phone.

Submit and Check the Balance

Click on the Submit button. You will see the accounts of various institutions linked to your UAN.

Choose the institution to check your PF balance.
