PF ATM Withdrawal: Soon, with just a few clicks, you can withdraw your PF directly from ATM apps like PhonePe, Google Pay, Paytm, and BHIM.

The Employees’ Provident Fund Organization (EPFO) is about to introduce a revolutionary change in the way Provident Fund (PF) withdrawals are made. Union Labor Minister Mansukh Mandaviya has announced that under the upcoming EPFO 3.0, employees will soon be able to withdraw PF money directly from ATM machines and through UPI-enabled apps. This new system promises to simplify the withdrawal process significantly, ending the need for lengthy formalities, office visits, and employer approvals.

What’s Changing with PF Withdrawals?

Previously, withdrawing PF money was a time-consuming process that often required multiple steps, including employer approval and a waiting period of 2-3 days. With EPFO 3.0, the process will be as easy as withdrawing money from a bank account.

Now, employees will be able to withdraw PF money directly from an ATM. The funds will be linked to the ATM system, allowing employees to access their PF funds with a few simple steps, and even use their Universal Account Number (UAN) or linked bank account for verification.

How Will You Withdraw PF from ATM?

To withdraw PF money from the ATM:

  • Link your PF account to the ATM-supported system.
  • Verify your identity using your UAN or linked bank account details.
  • A multi-factor authentication process, like an OTP verification, will be implemented for security.

Withdraw PF via UPI Apps Like PhonePe, Google Pay, Paytm, and BHIM

In addition to the ATM withdrawal facility, EPFO is also planning to introduce the ability to withdraw PF directly via UPI (Unified Payments Interface). This means you will soon be able to access your PF balance through popular apps like PhonePe, Google Pay, Paytm, and BHIM, and instantly transfer the money to your bank account.

Unlike the current system that can take up to 2-3 days via NEFT or RTGS, UPI will enable instant transfers – completing the process within seconds.

PF ATM Cards Under EPFO 3.0

EPFO customers will also be provided with a special PF ATM card. This card will allow users to withdraw funds from their PF accounts at ATMs. Although there hasn’t been any announcement about which ATMs will support this new facility, EPFO has assured that the system will be designed to be easy and user-friendly.

The Future of PF Withdrawals: Easier Than Ever

With the introduction of EPFO 3.0, withdrawing your PF funds will become a fully digital and instant process. This will be especially beneficial for employees who need immediate access to their funds.

The government will soon announce the official launch date and share further details about the entire process.

Stay tuned for updates on this new and convenient way to manage your PF withdrawals!
