People in Rajasthan will get free domestic gas for 1 month, the scheme is starting on September 20
The Bhajanlal government in Rajasthan is providing LPG cylinders to low-income families for just ₹ 450. This has been made possible through an additional subsidy of ₹ 150 on the price of ₹ 600 per cylinder under the Ujjwala scheme.
Now, in collaboration with Rajasthan State Gas Limited (RSGL), the government is launching a new initiative aimed at promoting green energy. The scheme will start on September 20, in which free domestic gas will be given for one month as an incentive.
The government is implementing a scheme to encourage pipeline-based domestic gas connections, in which consumers will be given free gas for about a month.
Benefit to 1,000 consumers.
To promote green energy, RSGL has launched an incentive scheme from September 20 to October 4 on the occasion of its foundation day. RSGL Managing Director Ranveer Singh said that the first 1,000 consumers in Kota city who opt for DPNG (domestic piped natural gas) connection during this period will get about a month of gas free.
No need for cylinder booking now
Ranveer Singh unveiled a poster promoting free PNG connection for new customers. RSGL is supplying both CNG and PNG in Kota. Pipeline-based domestic gas is economical, safe and environment-friendly, supporting green energy initiatives. Additionally, consumers will no longer need to book or replace cylinders frequently.
How to apply for connection
Ranveer Singh informed that RSGL is creating infrastructure for CNG and PNG services in Kota, providing domestic, commercial and industrial connections. As part of the incentive scheme, customers signing up for DPNG will get 3.3 standard cubic metres (SCM) of gas free per billing cycle for three billing periods. Interested persons can contact RSGL office in Kota for new DPNG connection.
