Passport Walk-In Service: RPO Ghaziabad has introduced a walk-in facility to resolve passport-related issues. Applicants can now visit the office directly without an appointment. Here are the full details.

Passport News: If any passport-related task of yours has been pending for a long time or you are facing difficulties in the application process, relief is now at hand. Keeping public convenience in mind, RPO Ghaziabad has launched a walk-in service. Through this facility, applicants can visit the office directly—without scheduling a prior appointment—to have their issues resolved. However, certain prescribed conditions must be met to avail of this service.

Service availability

This service will be available from Monday to Thursday each week; it will not be available on government holidays. A key feature is that applicants do not need to book a slot in advance and can visit the office directly to present their issues. However, the facility will be available to a limited number of people each day; a maximum of 150 applicants’ grievances and issues will be addressed daily.

Those whose passport files have been stalled for a long time can avail of this facility.
One can visit the office directly to resolve any urgent passport-related issue.
This facility is particularly useful for those requiring immediate assistance.

The Process

150 tokens will be issued daily under the walk-in facility.
Token distribution will begin at 9:00 AM on a first-come, first-served basis.
It is advisable for applicants to arrive early to avail of this facility.

Senior citizens aged 60 years or older
Differently-abled persons
Small children

Token Issuance Criteria

Tokens will be issued only to the individual who has the passport-related work. Parents or legal guardians may collect the token on behalf of applicants under the age of 18.
Tokens will not be issued to any other person on someone else’s behalf.
