Travellers travelling on the Haryana and Punjab routes will face some inconvenience for the next three months. Interlocking work is underway at Dhuri station. Large-scale redevelopment work is underway in Ludhiana, and fog has further worsened the situation.

As a result, several trains have been halted. These routes are heavily travelled daily. Therefore, this will directly impact passenger travel plans. The Railways has already released the complete list so that people can replan their journeys without much difficulty.

Passenger difficulties increase during winter.

Train operations become extremely difficult during winter. As always, passengers are facing difficulties this time too. Furthermore, the Railways have to halt many trains for maintenance. According to recent information, seven trains will be cancelled due to interlocking work.

Five trains will not run due to work in Ludhiana, while two trains will be cancelled due to fog. All these trains will be cancelled on different dates starting from December 3rd to February 27th. Therefore, it is important to check the train number and route before planning your journey.

Trains cancelled due to this reason

The Railways has announced that several passenger and express trains will not run until the interlocking work at Dhuri station is completed. For example, the passenger train from Bhiwani to Dhuri will be suspended from December 3rd to February 5th due to major interlocking work being carried out at Dhuri. Similarly, all trains from Dhuri to Sirsa, Sirsa to Ludhiana, Ludhiana to Bhiwani, Ludhiana to Hisar, Hisar to Amritsar, and Amritsar to Hisar will be cancelled from December 3 to February 5.

Regarding Ludhiana, a major renovation project is underway there. Due to this, five different trains will not run from December 1 to February 23. Trains on the Hisar to Ludhiana, Ludhiana to Churu, Churu to Ludhiana, Ludhiana to Hisar, and Hisar to Ludhiana routes will be completely cancelled during this period. Ludhiana station is a key junction for Northern Railway, so the work here will affect several routes.
