This is an excellent opportunity for young people seeking jobs in the government sector. The Defence Electronics Applications Laboratory (DEAL)—an establishment under the Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO)—has invited applications for apprentice training.

Candidates holding Graduate, Diploma, or ITI qualifications are eligible to apply. This is considered a great opportunity for youth in the engineering and technical fields. Eligibility criteria vary depending on the specific post.

For Graduate Apprentice positions, an Engineering degree (BE or B.Tech) in the relevant branch is mandatory, along with a minimum of 60% marks. Additionally, candidates with qualifications in Library Science can apply for certain posts.

Diploma holders can apply in disciplines such as Electronics, Mechanical, Computer Science, and Electrical Engineering. Meanwhile, ITI candidates are eligible to apply across various trades, including Fitter, Electrician, Machinist, COPA, and other technical fields.

A monthly stipend of ₹12,300 will be provided to Graduate candidates, ₹10,900 to Diploma candidates, and ₹10,560 to ITI apprentices.

Selection for these positions may be based on academic records, interviews, or a prescribed procedure. Only candidates who completed their studies between 2022 and 2026 are eligible to participate. The minimum age requirement for application is 18 years.

Graduate and Diploma candidates must apply via the NATS 2.0 portal, while ITI candidates can fill out their forms on the NAPS portal.
