Additionally, candidates must possess a National Trade Certificate in the relevant trade, issued by either the NCVT or SCVT. It is mandatory to fulfill the required educational and technical qualifications by the application deadline; candidates whose final results have not yet been declared are ineligible to apply.

Age limit: 15 to 24 years

For this recruitment, candidates must be at least 15 years old and under 24 years of age as of November 6, 2026. Candidates belonging to reserved categories will receive age relaxation as per regulations: 5 years for SC/ST candidates, 3 years for OBC candidates, and 10 years for PwBD candidates. Provisions for age relaxation also exist for ex-servicemen candidates in accordance with established rules.

No written examination

A key feature of this recruitment process is that no separate written examination will be conducted. The merit list will be prepared based solely on the marks obtained in the 10th standard and ITI examinations.
