PM Viksit Bharat Rozgar Yojana: On August 15, Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi announced the launch of Pradhan Mantri Vikassheel Bharat Rozgar Yojana for the youth from the Red Fort. Unemployed youth will be helped through this scheme. Through this scheme, the government will also provide financial assistance of Rs 15 thousand to the youth. But not everyone will get this amount.

There are also some conditions to get Rs 15 thousand under the PM Vikasit Bharat Rozgar Yojana. Only those youth who cross these conditions will get the assistance amount.

Union Labor and Employment Minister Mansukh L. Mandaviya told reporters on August 18 that the central government scheme of Rs 1 lakh crore was approved on July 1, 2025, and aims to "stimulate the creation of more than 3.5 crore jobs" in India over two years from August 1, 2025, to July 31, 2027.

Who will be eligible for PM Viksit Bharat Rozgar Yojana?

According to Labour and Employment Minister Mansukh L Mandaviya, all employers and first-time job seekers in India are covered under PMVBRY. He further explained that Part A of the scheme applies to first-time job seekers, while Part B is for employers. Employees with a gross salary of up to ₹1 lakh will be eligible for the scheme under Part A, the ministry said in a note.

How much incentive will companies get?

To be eligible for this scheme, entities with fewer than 50 employees will have to hire at least two additional employees continuously for at least six months.
At the same time, institutions with more than 50 employees will have to keep 5 additional employees.

Apart from this, establishments exempted under the EPF and MP Act, 1952, are also included in this.

Companies will get an incentive of up to Rs 3,000 per month for each additional employee (both first-time and re-entrants) for a continuous period of at least six months.

If an employee's salary is ₹ 10,000 per month, the employer will get an incentive of ₹ 1,000.

The employer of an employee with a monthly salary between ₹ 10,000 and ₹ 20,000 will get an incentive of ₹ 2,000.

Employers whose new employees' salaries is up to ₹ 30,000 will get a one-time incentive of ₹ 3,000.

Will first-time job seekers get 15 thousand rupees?

Under the PM Vikasit Bharat Rozgar Yojana, a first-time job holder will be given the benefit of an average one month salary of up to Rs 15,000 under Part A. This amount will be given in two installments.
