New update of OnePlus 11 5G
According to the changelog shared on the OnePlus Community website, Chinese tech company OnePlus has started rolling out the OxygenOS 15.0.0.840(EX01) update for the OnePlus 11 5G in India. This new OxygenOS 15 version includes a 'Save to Mind Space' feature, allowing users to save screen content as a memory that is automatically summarized and archived.
The most important thing is that OnePlus 11 5G users with OxygenOS 15 version can now run one app on full screen and another app in a floating window simultaneously. This feature will help make better use of the phone's 6.7-inch Quad-HD+ + (1,440x3,216 pixels) 10-bit LTPO 3.0 AMOLED display, which has 525ppi pixel density, 0- 120Hz dynamic refresh rate, and 1,000Hz touch sampling rate.
Many new features have also been added to the camera app in this update. Portrait and Photo mode will now get soft light filters, which will give dreamy image effects. Also, the AI Perfect Shot feature has been added, which can recognize and change the facial expression of the subject in a photo.
Apart from this, new options are available in this update to edit videos and live photos. Users can now export videos as live photos and also save them as photos in high resolution. The homepage of the Photos app can be customized, allowing users to hide the contents of an album from the photo list. OnePlus 11 5G has a Hasselblad-tuned triple rear camera setup, which has 50MP primary, 48MP ultra-wide, and 32MP telephoto sensors.
Most importantly, the July 2025 Android security patch has also been included with this update, which will improve the security of the system. Apart from this, a display location problem related to the mini window has also been fixed.
The OxygenOS 15 update also adds a 'Warning' feature, which gradually increases the volume of the alarm. Apart from this, the Recorder app now allows you to manage audio files in custom groups. The new update also introduces the In-Person Recordings group in the app, which automatically lists together files recorded in Standard, Meeting and Interview modes. Along with this, users can now use OnePlus Sans and One Sans fonts in additional languages.
At the system level, this update allows users to drag and stack widgets of similar size. A new feature called 'Temporarily Block' has been added, allowing users to block a banner notification by swiping it up for a while. Also, a shortcut to restart the phone will now be available in Quick Settings. Apart from this, users can now also drag the mini window towards the bottom of the screen.
