On which highway will the Fastag pass work and on which it will not, and how you can clear this confusion

Fastag Annual Pass Rules: With the Fastag Annual Pass, you will be able to make 200 trips for free in a year. But the annual pass will not be valid on these highways and expressways. Know which highways are included in this list.
Every day, crores of vehicles are seen running on the roads in the country. When vehicles running on the roads go from one state to another. Then there are toll plazas in between. Where they have to pay toll tax.
Recently, the Union Road and Transport Minister of the country, Nitin Gadkari, announced the launch of the Fastag Annual Pass. Fastag Annual Pass will be issued for a year. The price of which will be Rs 3000, in which up to 200 trips will be available free.
If your 1 year validity is completed. Then you will have to renew the Fastag pass. Or if you complete 200 trips before the completion of 1 year. Whichever of the two is completed first will be valid.
But there is a condition in this, if you are thinking that wherever you go and whatever toll plaza comes on the way, it will be counted in your 200 trips. You will not have to pay any toll there. So let us tell you that this is not so.
This Fast Tag Annual Pass will not be valid on all highways or expressways. It will be valid only on highways and expressways operated by the National Highway Authority of India, which comes under the Government of India.
For example, if you are going from Delhi to Agra. Then you will have to pay toll on the Yamuna Expressway. Even if you have a Fast Tag Annual Pass. Because that expressway does not come under NHAI but under the Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority of the UP government.
So when you apply for Fast Tag Annual Pass, keep these things in mind. So that you do not harm yourself by being in confusion. Let us tell you that Annual Fastag will start across the country from August 1, 2025. You will be able to get it made online only.
