NTA Releases SWAYAM July Exam Schedule; Check Exam Dates Here
The SWAYAM July Semester 2026 examination will be held from December 8 to December 12. The exam will be conducted in Computer-Based Test (CBT) mode. Candidates wishing to apply must fill out the form by October 31.
The NTA has commenced the registration process for the SWAYAM July Semester 2026 examination. Candidates who wish to appear for this exam can apply online via the official website. This time, the examination will be conducted for 662 courses. Along with the application deadline, the NTA has released the schedule for exam dates, fee submission, and application form corrections.
The SWAYAM July Semester 2026 examination is scheduled for December 8 to December 12. It will be conducted in Computer-Based Test (CBT) mode. Candidates must submit their applications by October 31, while the deadline for paying the exam fee is November 1, 2026. According to the NTA's schedule, the online application process for the SWAYAM July Semester exam began today, October 9. Candidates will have the opportunity to make corrections to their application forms on November 2 and 3. The exams will be held on December 8, 9, 10, 11, and 12, 2026.
The SWAYAM July Semester examination will be conducted in Computer-Based Test (CBT) mode. The duration of the exam will be 3 hours. The exam will be held in two shifts: the first shift from 9:30 AM to 12:30 PM, and the second shift from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM.
This examination covers 662 courses. The question papers will be in English; however, exams for language-related subjects will be conducted in the respective languages. Additionally, there will be no negative marking for incorrect answers in the MCQ section of the exam. If a question is found to be incorrect, ambiguous, or to have multiple correct answers, marks will be awarded to candidates who attempted the question and selected any of the correct options. Meanwhile, candidates applying for more than one course must carefully check the exam schedule; if the exams for two of their chosen courses fall within the same shift, they will have to decide which exam they wish to take.
The application fee for the exam is determined based on the candidate's category and the number of courses selected. For instance, the fee is ₹750 for a general course, with an additional fee of ₹600 per extra course. For candidates belonging to the General-UG, OBC-NCL, SC, ST, PwD, and PwBD categories, the fee is ₹500 for one course and ₹400 for each additional course.
Candidates wishing to appear for the SWAYAM July semester exam must first visit the official NTA SWAYAM website to apply. Subsequently, they need to register via the 'SWAYAM July 2026 Registration' link on the homepage, fill in the required details, and submit the form.
