This feature proves to be very useful in terms of security and privacy. If the latest leaked report is to be believed, then soon the support of Disappearing feature is going to be available in WhatsApp status. Actually, this will not be a status to be put in photos and videos but a status to come in the About section. It is often seen that after putting a status once, people keep the same status on WhatsApp for years. If someone has put a status of Busy, then it remains Busy for months. In such a situation, the new Disappearing feature will automatically remove the status from your account after a while.
According to the latest report of Wabetainfo, the Disappearing Status feature has been spotted in the WhatsApp beta for Android 2.25.21.17 update. With the help of this feature, users can now put their WhatsApp status for a limited time. After the time limit set by you, that status will automatically disappear from your account.

A screenshot of this feature has also been shared in the report. It can be seen in the screenshot that through the Disappearing Status feature, users will see many time duration options to put the status, which includes options of 30 minutes, 1 hour, 2 hours, 4 hours, 8 hours and 1 day. Also you can customize the time duration. As soon as you get the option to select the time duration while putting the status.
Status will disappear in 1 hour
You will get this new feature by going to WhatsApp settings. After going to Settings, you will have to go to the About section. Here you will see the option of About above Account. As soon as you go to About, you will get the option to set a new status as well as set the time duration. If you are going to be busy for the next 1 hour, then you will be able to set the status of Busy for 1 hour in the duration. After 1 hour, that Busy status will automatically be removed from the account.
