WhatsApp has rolled out a feature for chats, which was already available for groups. Now users can create and share events in chats as well. Some time ago, a report said that the Meta-owned instant messaging app WhatsApp is working on the Chat events feature. Finally, the company has started rolling out this feature. However, keep in mind that this feature is currently being made available to selected people only. Let's know how to use it.

According to the latest report of WAbetainfo, the WhatsApp beta for Android 2.25.3.6 update available on Google Play Store has revealed that the company is rolling out the feature of creating and sharing events in a single chat. Till now, events could be created only in groups. Now this feature is being rolled out for chats.

How to use it?

It is similar to the event feature found in groups. It is also very easy to use. According to the screenshot given in the report, after opening any chat in WhatsApp, as soon as you click on the + icon given near the message bar below, you will get the option for Event. It will be listed along with options like Poll, Documents, Location, etc. By clicking on the event, you will be able to create any event and share it in the chat.

Keep in mind that this feature is currently being rolled out for select Android beta users of WhatsApp. After testing, the feature will be rolled out for all users on the stable version. Right now people may have to wait a bit to use this feature. WhatsApp will roll it out for both Android and iOS users with the upcoming app update.
