Anyone who has applied for the scheme will be able to take advantage of this government scheme if found eligible. So far 1.30 crore people have applied for the scheme. The objective of the scheme is to provide 300 units of electricity free of cost to the people and promote solar power. Under this scheme, you can also generate electricity by installing solar panels at home and can also sell it to the government.

The subsidy process will be accelerated.

Let us tell you that according to a government official, currently, the claims related to subsidy have to be settled within a month. But in the future, the National Payment Corporation will be included in it, which will eliminate the checking of checks and bank accounts in subsidy. This decision of the government will further speed up the subsidy process. Apart from this, back-end integration is also being accelerated for the payment of subsidies through the National Portal.
