Banking and UPI will no longer be limited to just a PIN.

Biometric or multi-factor authentication will be required as an additional layer of security. Rail One App Mandatory for Train Tickets
If you book general or platform tickets using your mobile phone, please note that the old UTS app has been discontinued. Starting March 1st, the Railways have made the new Rail One app mandatory. No need to worry; you can easily transfer any remaining funds in your old UTS wallet to the new Rail One app by logging in with the same mobile number. From today, unreserved ticket bookings will only be available on this new platform.
WhatsApp will be disabled if your SIM is removed
To prevent digital fraud and SIM swap fraud, the government has implemented stricter rules. Now, messaging apps like WhatsApp, Telegram, and Signal will be directly linked to the active SIM card in your phone. If you remove the SIM, these apps will stop working. For security reasons, desktop versions like WhatsApp Web will now automatically log out every six hours, requiring a re-login.
