This proposal of the General Administration Department (GAD) was approved in the state cabinet meeting chaired by Chief Minister Nitish Kumar.

'No fee will be charged on those appearing in the main examination'

An official said that it was also decided that no fee would be charged from the candidates who pass the preliminary examination and appear in the main examination. The Chief Minister had announced the government's plans in this regard on social media last week. The state cabinet also approved the proposal to build two five-star hotels in Rajgir city of Nalanda and a five-star resort in Vaishali under public-private partnership (PPP). This decision is considered important before the assembly elections proposed later this year. Let us tell you that in the cabinet meeting, the Nitish government has approved a total of 16 important proposals.

Some important proposals among the approved proposals

Approval of the proposal to reduce the application fee in government job examinations under the Bihar government, under this, only Rs 100 will be charged for the preliminary examination (PT) while the main examination will be completely free.

To promote tourism, two five-star hotels in Rajgir of Nalanda district and a five-star resort in Vaishali will be built on PPP model.
